• 2 cups white beans
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1/8 lb. bacon, diced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup catsup
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce

(Soak dry beans overnight, then dump off the water) rc Cover beans with cold water and add salt.(I don't add any salt to my beans until they are tender, I believe it makes them harder to cook)rc. Simmer until tender (approximately 2-3 hours)rc. Drain off all except 1 cup of the water. (I cut the bacon into small slices and fryed it slightly with the onion)rc.
Add remaining ingredients. (At this stage I just mixed everything together and then warmed it up when I was ready to serve)rc. Top with diced bacon. Bake at 275° for 6 to 8 hours.
